I think I’ve been pretty lucky with my job hunt since I finished uni. I found the contract job in a few weeks and that job gave me skills to transfer to another job. Now I just have one more week of work, my graduation and I’m waiting for my contract from my new workplace. Things are finally going well and I’m excited to get a start on my career.

MATT LeBLANC: There’s only five people in the world who know exactly what being on Friends was like, other than me. There’s five of them. David, Matthew, Lisa, Courteney, and Jen. That’s it. Marta and David were close, but when they left the stage, no one knew what they did. We could never leave the stage, metaphorically speaking. Still can’t. Still on that stage. That will follow us around forever.
More important than anything else is the look on people’s faces when you cross paths with them in the street, or in the store, or in the grocery line. You can always tell that you were—maybe still are, maybe always will be—a part of their family. Movies have this thing where it’s an event. You get dressed up, you go to dinner, and you go to the movies. You’re outside of your element. But with television, people are watching you in bed, at their kitchen table eating. You’re in their house.
I did not want it to end.

Visual Communication first project: combining two contrasting objects together. I made a mini series based on the theme ‘Adulthood vs Childhood’. or maybe I should call it “clash of different intoxicating things ” I love this multi-themed creation.

Had a great interview yesterday with an engineering company. The hiring manager and GM were impressed. The interview went smoothly and we had a few laughs. Today they called to say I would be interviewed by another manager.

I told them I’m tied to my contract job but I could do it in the morning before my graduation ceremony. The GM ended up recommending to appoint me for the role so I got to skip the second interview. Now I’ve progressed to the reference check.

I’m really excited! I know my references will say good things about me and they said they liked working with me. I’m really excited if this goes through and I’ll officially get my letter of offer. The GM would be my mentor and I’m just really keen to learn all that I can.

It’s been a great few months and I’m really lucky to have gotten my current contract job. I was fresh out of university with only retail experience, I’m lucky I got something within three weeks of job hunting. Now I have some relevant experience and I’m moving onto another role.

I’m just so happy that things are slowly coming together. I’d love to finally start my life and start saving some money for the future. I’m so excited, I can’t sleep! Finally I feel like an adult…

People have offered many potential explanations for this discrepancy, but this ad highlights the importance of the social cues that push girls away from math and science in their earliest childhood years.

Watch the powerful Verizon advertisement to really understand what a little girl hears when you tell her she’s pretty.

This is so important. Girls pay attention. Boys, if you are a brother, father, cousin of a girl, pay attention.

This is CRITICAL
